Friends, Family and Supporters,
We’re in Florida, and seeking the Lord for open doors to preach and sing and present the ministry in this section of the country. It seems to be a harder time to schedule meetings. Please pray for this endeavor, as our faith-based ministry looks to God to provide for our needs. Also pray that we will be able to schedule many places for next year.
We are presently in Ocala, Florida. God revealed some very serious problems with the van we drive, and provided our friend Kermit the Mechanic to help us with them. It has been found out that there were so many things cracked, melted and disintegrated, that we would have had a “thermal event” on the way home, and not have ever returned to Pensacola. It is only by God’s mercies that we have been spared and we are so humbled and thankful to Him.
So our time here in Ocala has lengthened, and the Lord is good. He opened doors for us to sing and preach 9 times in the last 8 days! Thank you all for your prayers! We hope to be coming back to Pensacola soon.
It is also our wish to try to do some taping of songs and messages so that we have more resources to offer when we travel. Please pray for the Lord’s will in timing, scheduling, and funds to do so.
The Myers Family is excited to be working on a new project. We’re developing a Christmas program for Creation2Christ to present and to provide for churches and schools to do. Jessica is doing so well as she writes the melodies and lyrics for much of this program, and then we gather around and develop harmony parts to the music. What joy to work as a team! Please pray for God’s blessing on this task, and for the souls of those who will hear it. We are planning to make a CD of this new Christmas cantata in the next few weeks. We are praying that we will be able to present it to churches, schools, jails, and nursing homes in December. If you know of places that might welcome us, please let us know.
